Upcoming ways to get involved in the life of Community Presbyterian Church
Celebrate the 100th Anniversary of Community Church with a special worship service, followed by a catered lunch in the yard.
Reservations for lunch are required. We must receive them by Tuesday, May 27.
The cost will be $50/person, children under 15 free. That includes a full catered lunch (steak, chicken, and other goodies from the grill, plentiful sides, etc.), beer and wine, and cake.
Community Church was founded on February 25, 1914, in what was then a quiet farming area known as Norwood. In 1933, Community Church merged with the nearby Stuart Avenue Presbyterian Church, forming Community Presbyterian Church of Malverne. The original sanctuary, built in 1916, still forms the core of Community Presbyterian's sanctuary today
Join us for breakfast before worship on Palm Sunday. Breakfast casseroles, bagels, fruit, and other delights make a great start to Holy Week. The official start time is 8:45, but it's very casual, so come whenever.
Leftovers become brunch after church, if you're still hungry.
